Knightica is a strategy game in the auto-battle genre, where every decision affects the outcome of the campaign. The player must manage an army, deploy units, and combine abilities. The world is generated anew with each launch, making each playthrough unique.

Battlefield tactics

Success is determined by the proper army structure. The player decides whether to create an undead army or rely on mages and artifacts. Deploying units turns the battlefield into a chess match, where every detail matters, from damage output to skill interactions.

A flexible progression system allows for experimentation. New items, commander choices, and showcase updates open up fresh strategies. Battles with powerful demons test your mettle, and the variety of combinations makes every adventure unique.

Features of the game

  • Strategic auto-battler with tactical combat.

  • Choice of play style and command.

  • Combinations of units, artifacts and enchantments.

  • Unique sessions thanks to procedural generation.

It's a fairly diverse game with a variety of setups. You deploy armies, level them up, give them bonuses, assemble sets, and unlock bonuses. It's moderately challenging. After the first playthrough, I honestly don't have much desire to replay it because there aren't any obvious bonuses.

An overall enjoyable sticky game with good mechanics for balancing the economy and testing builds. I personally managed to win in Necromancy, and the second time in Dragons. 6.2 out of 10
