God of War 3 (III) Remastered

God of War III Remastered concludes the Greek trilogy about Kratos. The Spartan warrior, once the god of war, was betrayed by his own father, Zeus, the king of Olympus, and now leads the Titans to storm the Mountain of the Gods for revenge.

War for Olympus

The game begins immediately after the conclusion of the second game: Kratos and the Titans climb the slopes of Olympus, and at the top, the gods await him, ready to defend their home. The path to Zeus lies through Poseidon, Hades, Helios, Hermes, and Heracles, and each encounter ends brutally. Battles take place on a massive scale, sometimes directly on the body of a Titan crawling up the mountain. Kratos cuts down enemies with the Blades of Exile, and later acquires other weapons taken from defeated foes. Along the way, he meets Pandora, and the outcome of his vengeance depends on her.

A PlayStation 4 remaster was released in 2015, bringing the PS3 game to 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second.

Native port to PC

This build is unofficial and runs without a PlayStation 4 emulator. The console is built on the same x86-64 architecture as a regular computer, so the game executable runs directly on the processor, and the console's system libraries are replaced by a custom environment. The game is now playable from start to finish. Saves are supported and automatically backed up, graphics are output via Vulkan 1.3, resolutions can be set from 480p to 4K, and the engine maintains up to 240 frames per second. Shaders are compiled in the background, so the game doesn't freeze when first loading scenes. The built-in menu includes settings, cheats, resource multipliers, an enemy health bar, and system load monitoring.

DualSense, Xbox gamepads, and keyboards are supported, but keyboard and mouse controls are still being finalized. Those who decide to download the God of War III Remastered torrent should connect a gamepad right away.
