Bloodborne

Bloodborne Released in 2015 on PlayStation 4, it was developed by FromSoftware and Hidetaka Miyazaki, the creator of Demon's Souls and Dark Souls, but was never officially released on PC. This build brings the Game of the Year edition to PC, along with the expansion pack, The Old Hunters.

Yharnam in the midst of an epidemic

The hero comes to ancient Yharnam in search of a cure: the local blood is said to cure any disease. The city is engulfed in an epidemic that transforms residents into beasts, and it spreads faster than the townspeople can lock their doors. Crowds with torches roam the streets, beasts lurk on the rooftops, and the hero becomes one of the hunters who set out on the Night of the Hunt. What really happened to Yharnam must be pieced together, and the deeper one delves, the stranger the answers become.

Fight without a shield

There's no way to sit back here. Health lost from a blow is partially restored if you immediately counter the enemy, so the game constantly pushes you to attack. Weapons change shape mid-combat, and the pistol in your left hand is essential for counterattacks: a well-aimed shot during an enemy's swing leaves the enemy open for a finishing blow. The Old Hunters adds a separate story campaign about the past of the hunters who once turned Yharnam into a playground for their mad games.

How the port is organized

The port is unofficial and doesn't require a full-fledged emulator. It runs the executable version 1.09 (CUSA03173) through its own runtime with Vulkan rendering; the CPU is not emulated. The project is still experimental, but saves, sound, and gamepad are already working. The frame rate is unlocked, with modes from 30 to 90 FPS available, and higher frame rates are possible on more powerful hardware. FSR 3.1 and FSR 4 enhance the image quality, with scaling up to 4K, and resolution and sharpness can be adjusted directly in-game. Everything works on Windows 10/11 and Linux x64, so download the torrent. Bloodborne (Bloodborne) is also useful for non-Windows users. Mods and third-party patches can be used without modifying the original files.
