Blades, Bows and Magic is a turn-based card strategy game where everything revolves around unit interaction and proper army deployment. Instead of complex rules, the game uses a straightforward framework with three unit types, but this simplicity conceals a vast array of tactical combinations. It's not enough to simply assemble powerful cards — it's important to understand how they work together during battle.
Combinations change the rules
Cards constantly influence each other through abilities and formation placement. Some characters buff their neighbors, others receive bonuses under certain conditions, and some specifically disrupt the opponent's usual formations. This makes even short matches a constant struggle for advantageous formations and the correct attack order.
The single-player campaign gradually introduces new cards and abilities, forcing you to find fresh combinations for the next battle. In multiplayer, things get even tougher: you have to anticipate your opponent's plans, adjust your formation to the enemy army, and take risks for unexpected tactical moves that can decide the match in a single round.
