Games with diplomacy

Games where diplomacy is a fully-fledged part of strategy: forging alliances and trade treaties, declaring war and peace, weaving intrigues, and betraying at the right moment. Sometimes a successful treaty brings more than a won battle. This label is found in grand strategy games, 4X games, and political role-playing games.
