Lunar Ascendant

Lunar Ascendant is a political drama about the future of humanity on the Moon. The player assumes the role of David De Silva, an ordinary man who unexpectedly assumes the post of mayor of the Artemis colony. The city, once founded as a mining outpost, has become a refuge for those who refuse to accept the control of global artificial intelligence.

Politics at the edge of space

Artemis finds itself at the center of a conflict between the colony's inhabitants and the United Earth Federation. The Federation is governed by the AIA system — an absolute artificial intelligence that controls human activity for the sake of stability. Many colonists view this order as a threat to freedom and see the lunar city as an opportunity to build a different path of development.

The mayor must make decisions that affect the fate of the entire colony. Negotiations with factions, resource allocation, and relations with the Federation shape the political situation. Any choice could strengthen Artemis's independence or bring it under the control of Earth-based structures and their digital power.
