Galactic Civilizations IV is a strategy game set in the distant future. Manage your troops, build space stations, colonize planets, form political alliances, and research technologies. When achieving superiority, all means are acceptable.

Gameplay
The world has entered the 24th century. Humanity has discovered faster-than-light travel technology and is now actively pursuing the conquest of the Universe. But, as it turns out, we are far from the only intelligent life form. This means competition for territory is imminent.

The game begins on a single planet, where you must conduct research and discover new technologies. Explore your galaxy, colonize neighboring planets, and ensure the well-being of your inhabitants. Along the way, you'll need to engage in trade and diplomacy, lead conspiracies, and engage in open military conflicts with other civilizations.

The fourth version of the iconic strategy game builds on the experience of previous releases. It features significant gameplay reworks, adding new features and elements. Now you can appoint leaders, explore space sectors, and engage in battles using the latest invasion and combat system. Create your own government and determine which citizens you want to govern and which planets to grant them control.
