In terms of its content, this game is a reimagining of Duna 2. The action continues on the same planet, Arraxis, familiar to many fans from previous installments of the outstanding strategy game. The key element remains the fierce confrontation between three factions, each attempting to crush the other in an attempt to capture all the deposits of a special spice, known as spice.

Although the game has been given a 3D makeover, it remains traditional in every sense. Three factions still fight among themselves, special transport explores spice deposits, and infantry move through the sands with extreme caution, as the giant Worm still harbours a deadly threat. The terrifying creature could rise from the sandy depths at any moment and destroy everything in its path. This setting is where the interactivity of this captivating game lies.

The gameplay remains the same. First, the player must choose a House from three available. Later in the game, five more smaller Houses will be available to assist them. After choosing a faction, the familiar mission process begins. The tasks are not particularly difficult: collect a certain amount of resources, escort a high-ranking official from one point to another, and repel attacks from hostile factions.

The gameplay remains unchanged. Players will lay foundations using slabs and then build a complex with various buildings on top of them. As the game progresses, players will need to fortify their base, create soldiers, and mine spice. This spice is used to make all the upgrades and modifications needed to ultimately achieve victory.
