Development occurs gradually, so economic, political, and social mechanics unfold as your city grows.

Trade will allow you to turn your manufactured goods into real wealth. Create production chains, send merchant caravans to neighboring settlements, and choose the most profitable trade routes. When planning routes, consider distances, terrain, and the likelihood of bandit attacks, as cargo loss can seriously impact your income.
