DeadRoot

DeadRoot is a 3D metroidvania with fast-paced combat, exploration, and a unique protagonist. You play as a small snail, stranded in a world where size doesn't matter, and survival must be earned in every battle. Beneath the roots of ancient lands lies the source of a mysterious plague, destroying all life. To uncover the truth, you'll have to traverse the ruins of lost kingdoms, inhabited by creatures long devoid of mercy.

Little hero, big problems

Almost every enemy outshines the hero in size and strength. Insects attack in swarms, rats lie in wait in dark passages, and the most dangerous creatures lurk even deeper. The combat system emphasizes aggression and timing. Blows feel heavy and powerful, and successful finishing moves turn every victory into a spectacular massacre. It's important not just to swing a weapon, but to use every move as effectively as possible.

Exploration plays an equally important role. The world is made up of interconnected locations, full of hidden routes, secrets, and mysteries. New abilities gradually open access to previously inaccessible areas. The ability to climb walls, squeeze through narrow passages, and interact with the environment constantly encourages you to return to familiar areas and discover what previously remained unnoticed.
