Vegelypse

Vegelypse is a 2.5D beat 'em up with a roguelite structure, focusing entirely on intense melee combat, co-op, and replayability. You control the members of the Hard Rock Cacti Band and fight your way through waves of aggressive mutated vegetables, advancing along linear yet varied routes.

Fighting as the basis of progression

Each run revolves around the classic beat 'em up formula: forward movement, crowd control, attack timing, and positioning. Along the way, you gain temporary buffs and modifiers that alter your character's fighting style — speed, damage, combos, and defense. Death doesn't reset your progress completely, but opens up new opportunities for future attempts.

The game supports co-op for up to four players, where role-based play and shared screen control are crucial. Enemies vary in attack types, behavior, and synergies, forcing constant movement and adaptation. Hand-crafted frame-by-frame animation accentuates blows and makes every encounter visually compelling and intense.
