Dithered is a psychological horror game in which you play as Penelope, a child trapped in a confined space of her own traumas. This world is governed not by logic, but by emotion: the familiar road to school is torn apart, the sky is bleeding pixels, and familiar faces are frozen like forgotten dolls. What they call a "bad dream" refuses to end.
Broken lens of reality
The world isn't just broken — it's dissolving right before our eyes. The dithered visual presentation transforms the environment into a distorted memory: low-polygon shapes tremble, shadows rustle, and every step is accompanied by crunching and static. This isn't nostalgia or stylization, but the feeling of a memory left in the rain, slowly fading at the edges of perception.
Survival requires constant monitoring of Penelope's condition. Managing stamina, sugar crunch, and resources turns every encounter into a tense choice. Fights are not about strength, but about body weight, fear, and timing. Improvised weapons, dodges, and patience become the only way to confront twisted creatures born from childhood nightmares and forgotten toys.
