Navigating The Labyrinth – a classic party-based first-person dungeon crawler with turn-based combat from Dragon Dropper, released in late April 2025. It's a standalone game in the same vein as the studio's previous works, Into The Inferno and Crossing The Sands, and isn't required to begin with them.

The city of Phera and the Minotaur king

The action is based on ancient myths. The city of Pherae was once rich, but long ago fell into the shadow of the Labyrinth Kingdoms, ruled by the Minotaur King. Every year, adventurers venture into the labyrinths to find treasures that could save the city, but none have ever returned. With each loss, Pherae grows weaker. Your party becomes the next attempt: you must navigate the labyrinths, unravel their secrets, and retrieve the riches.

Six heroes and a grid

A party of up to six players of different classes can be assembled, and each player levels up separately. Movement through the tiles is like in old 1990s RPGs: one step forward, one turn, one step more. Combat is turn-based, with spells and abilities, so the composition of the party and the order of actions matter more than just leveling up a single character. The deeper you descend into the labyrinth, the more dangerous the monsters become, and a party that successfully navigated the first few floors may find themselves in dire straits at the bottom.

For old school lovers

The game is designed for those who miss the old computer RPGs: a first-person perspective, a grid-based map, and leisurely exploration. The graphics are 3D. The game is single-player only, and there's a separate soundtrack available as an add-on. Download Navigating The Labyrinth You can download the torrent for PC on this page; the game requires about 9 GB of space.

Isn't this a frame-by-frame clone? The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall", released 29 years ago, lol?)
(There was no Daggerfall in the game, so I had to insert a link from Steam.)

But, only in THIS game have the textures been improved and the gameplay diversified with a party in which everyone has their own pattern. But, the same "Legend of Grimrock" better.

PolitanHonestly, I don't care whose frame-by-frame clone it is. I pointed out that this game, released in 2025, doesn't even hold a candle to a game released over 20 years ago. And behind the scenes, the question remains: why the HELL do this at all? Who are they making it for? And who's making it? :)

Haha, at least the 2D models were replaced with 3D ones)))

And the question that remains behind the scenes is: why the H E W E R K do this at all? Who do it for? And who is doing it? :)

Well, sort of... Um. So you want to make YOUR OWN game in your favorite genre. And you do it. Lol.
Another question is whether people need it. But the man has self-actualized, and his product is being talked about. A 13-year-old child from Russia and Darth Maul sweat_smile

PolitanWell, you shouldn't confuse the desire to make a game with this. And self-realization with the same... It's a waste of the creator's time and money. And also a waste of the resources and time of those who... well, those who added this to the site. Well, I think that's enough of wasting my time on this. Good luck.
