The protagonist is a Japanese high school student. Her best friend hasn't attended school for several days. Furthermore, he's stopped answering her phone, and his parents have reported their son missing to the police. Suddenly, the girl remembers that before his disappearance, her classmate told her the legend of Teke Teke. At the time, nothing alarmed the protagonist, but now, analyzing her friend's behavior, she realizes he was literally obsessed with the story.

One day, during a severe frost, a lonely woman was hit by a train. It ran over her, right at the waist. Lying in the cold, cut in half, the unfortunate woman died in horrific agony over the course of several hours. Those who hear this story are being killed by a legless monster over the course of three days. Can you hear it crawling towards you yet? Teke Teke Teke…"
You must conduct your own investigation to shed light on your friend's disappearance. Remember that every action and decision you make will have consequences that will ultimately influence the game's ending.
