Here, victory depends not on chance, but on skill. Thus, Swordsman is a very successful combination of a Mortal Kombat-style fighting game and a Lineage-like RPG. There are also arena battles, meaning they take place in a confined space. This mode isn't immediately unlocked — it's unlocked after reaching level 30.

The characters' movements are mesmerizing — it's clear the developers were assisted by true martial arts masters. It's also important that the story is based on the works of renowned Chinese writer Louis Cha. The hero is driven by revenge. He alone survived one fateful day — all his family and friends were felled by enemy blades. Now he, too, is sharpening his sword. However, there are other weapons, too. For example, the women of the Five Venoms School brutally wield whips with poisoned metal tips.

You can fight in the arena one on one or three on three.
This mode allows you to showcase your skills to the fullest. It's worth noting that in Swordsman, attacks, blocks, and dodges are just as important. Everything looks like something out of the best Asian kung fu films. The setting portrays this country majestically. Huge castles with their famous arched roofs, gardens designed for meditation, and other nooks await us. Battles can take place anywhere — on water, on land, or in the air.
