Developer DICE and publisher Electronic Arts are preparing to release the next installment in the legendary first-person shooter series Medal of Honor. The new project is titled Forefront, which can be translated as "On the Front Line." The creators have not yet provided many details about the project or announced a precise release date, but it is presumably scheduled for 2015. However, some information about the game is known.
Features Medal of Honor Forefront: So, it's still unclear exactly where the military action will unfold this time, but the United States and Russia will definitely be involved. It's important to emphasize that the battlefield will be shared by approximately 10 countries, making for incredibly diverse and exciting gameplay. Naturally, expect only the best and most modern graphics. It's worth noting that the developers have created a new destruction system.
Medal of Honor: Forefront focuses on infantry combat, so the new game in the series won't feature the ability to operate heavy vehicles. While they will still be present at the battlefield, they will be controlled by artificial intelligence. Notably, the more effective the soldiers are, the more effective a tank, for example, will be in defending a protected area.
Apparently, the project is being developed using the Frostbite 3 engine, which has been modernized by the talented team at Danger Close. It's worth noting that these guys are involved not only with the engine but also with the game's development. In partnership with DICE, they will surely succeed in transforming the concept of Medal of Honor: Forefront into a true masterpiece of gaming art.
