The game features four different locations, each with its own chambers, anomalies, atmosphere, secrets, and developments. The process seems simple: spot something suspicious, click on it, and report it. However, a mistake can be serious, so it's crucial to carefully examine what you see and not mistake every change for an anomaly. Earned tokens unlock subsequent levels, and completing a shift gradually brings the player closer to uncovering what's happening beyond the chambers.

A special role is played by the virtual assistant Pete, who initially simply assists you during work. As you progress, he begins to track your shifts, talk, answer questions, sing, and play with you. Gradually, his interest in your actions becomes more noticeable and begins to raise questions. After completing each level, a separate "Aftermath" scene, lasting three to five minutes, unlocks, showing what happened after the observation ended.
