Hunting during the day

While the tavern's doors are closed, it's time to leave the settlement and gather supplies for the evening's feast. In the wilderness, you can track unusual creatures, fight them with whatever you have at hand, gather ingredients, search camps, and discover hidden treasures. The loot must be delivered home before evening, as once the tavern opens, there's no time for further forays. Each expedition becomes a separate adventure, where you need not only to obtain as many useful resources as possible but also to return before work begins.

As night falls, the hunt gives way to intense work behind the bar. You need to prepare dishes, pour mead, entertain customers, and simultaneously ensure that the riotous Vikings don't turn the tavern into ruins. The Northern gods require special attention, expecting impeccable service, while cunning goblins might try to steal your hard-earned coins. The funds and materials you collect allow you to gradually transform the old tavern into a true hall of Valhalla: discover recipes, brew unusual potions, grow plants, craft weapons, decorate the premises, and hire locals with their own upgrades and stories.
