Stationbreak — is a sci-fi strategy game with roguelite elements, where every stop in space becomes a race against time. A small fleet is constantly on the run, jumping between star systems in an attempt to escape the clutches of the mysterious Swarm. To make the next leap, they must build temporary stations, mine energy, and use whatever they can find in unfamiliar sectors. The only problem is that staying in one place for too long is mortally dangerous.
Space does not forgive mistakes.
Each system imposes its own requirements. It's necessary to consider the placement of modules, monitor the star's illumination, choose an orbit, and wisely utilize the station's limited space. Every decision impacts the efficiency of the entire structure. Pressure increases with each passing minute as equipment wears out, temperatures rise, and the strain on the crew gradually begins to take its toll.
The swarm never leaves sight. Its waves grow larger and more dangerous, forcing a constant choice between safety and progress. Strengthened defenses help hold out longer, but slow down preparations for the next leap. Sometimes, valuable resources and unfinished projects must be abandoned for the sole purpose of escaping before the situation becomes hopeless.
