Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Deathwatch — is a turn-based tactical RPG in which commanding an elite Imperial unit becomes a matter of the survival of an entire sector. As a Deathwatch Inquisitor, you muster strike forces, allocate resources, and make decisions that determine the outcome of the war. Genestealers, Orks, Tau, and Chaos press from all sides, leaving no room for error.

Tactics under constant pressure

Every operation is built around precise calculations, proper positioning, and an understanding of your squad's strengths. The battlefield constantly dictates new conditions, and enemies force you to change your approach from mission to mission. It's not enough to simply advance forward: you have to consider cover, flanking threats, terrain features, and the right moment to deliver the main blow.

The campaign's progression is tied not only to battles but also to how you assemble your battlegroup. You can tailor classes, weapons, orders, and abilities to specific missions, bolstering your squad with heavy vehicles like the Redemptor Dreadnought, Sentinels, and Leman Russ tanks. This is complemented by Skirmish mode, a great way to test new compositions, practice tactics, and test the limits of your team.
