Above Land: Rhapsody — is a co-op roguelite that quickly descends into complete chaos with flying monsters, strange weapons, and builds that spiral out of control halfway through a run. You might find yourself wielding a huge sword in one hand, and a guitar or an ordinary chair in the other, which suddenly starts smashing enemies harder than any "normal" weapon. Everything around you constantly explodes, collapses, and flies in all directions, and within a couple of minutes, the screen turns into a spectacular disaster.
Here the best builds are born by chance
The craziest combinations usually emerge unplanned. One discovered perk suddenly changes the entire combat style, another begins to enhance some absurd effects, and a third turns the character into a walking nuisance for all living things around. Because of this, each new run feels like an experiment, where no one fully understands what exactly will be possible towards the end and how much it will disrupt the balance.
Co-op only exacerbates this chaos. Some players are dragging their team through bosses, others are rushing around the arena with questionable weapons, and still others are accidentally setting off explosions right under their teammates' feet. And it's precisely in these moments that everything works best: constant confusion, quick decisions, and the feeling that any battle could devolve into absolute madness at any moment.
