Little Tree Kingdom — is a deck-building roguelike about developing a dwarven settlement around a giant tree, where all decisions are made through cards, and the kingdom itself literally grows before your eyes. Buildings are placed not on level ground, but directly on the roots, trunk, and crown, forcing you to consider not only what to build but also where to fit it without losing efficiency.
The tree as a space for strategy
The tree here isn't just a decoration, but a fully-fledged part of the system. Roots provide certain capabilities, upper levels provide others, and the layout of buildings determines how well everything will work. Production, defense, and resource extraction are interconnected, and if one element slackens, it quickly drags everything down with it. You have to rebuild existing parts, compact the space, and find better placement combinations.
Problems begin to accumulate on their own: the weather ruins plans, monsters appear at the wrong time, and resources are constantly insufficient for everything. Blessings can save the day, but they're not universal — they boost one aspect while weakening another. Ultimately, the game keeps you in a state where you can't simply "speed up" and forget about it; you have to constantly adapt to the current situation and make the most of what you have.
