Cartomantic

Cartomantic is a tactical Tarot deckbuilder where strategy revolves around card chain reactions and precise positioning. The player assumes the role of the Fool — a symbol of pure potential, capable of changing the rules of interaction between the Arcana. The journey takes place through the mysterious Potential Space, where each encounter becomes an experiment with suit combinations, effects, and layout sequences, creating powerful reactions on the board.

Arcana combinations

Cards are arranged in a spread, where their position determines the strength and direction of their effects. Suits have their own properties, and their combinations trigger chains of interactions. Some cards enhance adjacent ones, while others alter the rules of the next turn, creating complex sequences of actions. Proper positioning allows effects to chain together into long combos that completely change the course of a battle.

The journey gradually expands the deck and opens up new development possibilities. Discovered cards introduce unusual mechanics, while modifiers alter the properties of the Arcana and create unexpected combinations. Some enhancements radically alter strategy, allowing for builds capable of turning an ordinary deck into a devastating chain reaction.
