LOP: Whitefall is a 2D action game built around the idea of total physical destruction. Enemies aren't represented by conventional health bars. Instead, each enemy is composed of vulnerable parts that can be destroyed, broken, and disabled. Every blow has a physical impact on the world. The player fights their way through the frozen ruins of a shattered civilization, where every encounter leaves its mark on the environment and gradually reveals the secrets of a vanished world.
Fights through destruction
Battles are built around disrupting the enemy's structure. You can destroy the enemy's central core or break individual elements to deprive them of mobility or the ability to attack. This approach turns combat into a tactical challenge, where it's crucial to understand the enemy's structure and choose the most effective way to neutralize them.
The environment also plays a significant role in encounters. Walls, structures, and icy surfaces can be destroyed, altering the space around the player. Sometimes, this destruction opens new passages or creates unexpected advantages in combat. As a result, each battle becomes a dynamic clash of physics, destruction, and improvisation.
