Valor of Man

Valor of Man – a turn-based tactical RPG with roguelike elements from Legacy Forge, published by Numskull Games, released on March 19, 2026. You assemble a party of four heroes and lead them through a grim world riven by destruction and discoveries best left unmade.

Four heroes out of twelve

Before setting out, you need to assemble a team. There are twelve classes, each with its own role and combat style, and only four champions are allowed per team, so you have to carefully consider your composition: who can take the hit, who can deal damage, and who can support the others. New classes, legendary artifacts, gear, and abilities are unlocked with each run. The full version features over 300 abilities, 290 items, and 170 artifacts, which can be combined to create synergies that change the course of each encounter.

A board game battle

Battles are turn-based and inspired by tabletop D&D. Each turn, the party has a limited number of action points, which must be allocated between hero skills and items. Timing a powerful strike is especially important: taking out a key enemy at the right time is often more important than simply inflicting significant damage. Each attack triggers a reaction on the battlefield and changes the situation, so a successful position last turn may turn out to be a trap the next. There are over fifty enemy types, including nine bosses.

Valor Chapters and Levels

The journey is divided into procedurally generated chapters, where at every step you must choose between risk and reward. Death of the squad isn't the end here, but part of the learning curve: each attempt unlocks something new, and the full truth about the world is revealed only to those who return again and again. For experienced players, Valor offers ten levels of increasing difficulty. Matches are short, and both gamepad and Steam Deck are supported.
