Survive The Fog – a fast-paced third-person action roguelike in the vein of Vampire Survivors, developed solo by developer Droviax. The game is built in Unity and was slated for an Early Access release, with the author also citing Dark Souls and Diablo as inspirations. The premise is simple: hordes of enemies, on-the-fly leveling, and builds for different classes.
Mage or warrior
There are currently two classes, and they play very differently. The Mage keeps a distance and attacks with spells. The Ice Mage controls the battlefield, slowing and freezing enemies. The Fire Mage is more brutal and can summon a fire dragon, and there's also lightning. The Warrior fights up close, with a two-handed sword or katana. The sword strikes hard and over a wide area, while the katana is fast. For each enemy killed, the Warrior regenerates health. The abilities of both are modified by powers, which are awarded for leveling up or obtained from chests.
Meteors and gluttonous chests
Once a minute, an event occurs on the map. This could be a meteor shower that hits both enemies and the hero, a healing zone where health is restored while you stand inside, or a voracious chest that quickly disappears but offers a powerful reward. There are kill targets: these award random buffs for a period of time, and with each kill, the buff lasts longer and becomes stronger. For example, cooldown reduction can be increased to 90%.
Constant pumping
Between runs, gems dropped from monsters are spent in the store on permanent upgrades. Map difficulty can be increased: enemies will become tougher and hit harder, but they will also yield more gems. The author planned new maps with bosses, classes like the werewolf, necromancer, and archer, and, in the future, perhaps co-op. Download torrent Survive The Fog On a PC, it can be lower; 4 GB of memory and about 3 GB of disk space will be enough.
