Survive Or Die

Survive Or Die – a first-person survival game from Imperian Online studio Pardubice, released on November 16, 2023. The hero here is neither a tourist nor a crash victim, but a prisoner sentenced to death who escaped from prison and found himself in a strange mountain valley.

Escape from the electric chair

The execution by electric chair was scheduled to take place very soon, but a riot broke out in the prison. The hero took advantage of the chaos to escape, only to wake up in an unfamiliar valley among the mountains. This is a complex place: the valley has its own secrets, and they must be unraveled as the game progresses. Furthermore, the fugitive is being pursued, so it's best not to relax. Much of the exploration takes place at night, when visibility is poor and the danger is greatest.

Traps and riddles

The valley's open world is filled with traps, many of which are hidden so undetectable they may not be immediately noticeable. There are also puzzles that must be solved to progress. There are also combat encounters, and the valley is home to predatory creatures that prey on humans. The game is noticeably closer to a horror game than a laid-back sandbox, and there's plenty of blood and violence.

Crafting and Shelter

The survival gameplay is the same as most games in the genre. Tools and items are collected from the valley, and the materials are used to build a shelter where you can wait out the danger. The game is single-player only. The name might easily confuse the game with Die to Survive or Live or Die, but it's a separate project.
