This installment was developed by the Hungarian company Black Hole Entertainment (previously responsible for Warhammer: Mark of Chaos), which unfortunately closed in 2012, despite the fact that its "Heroes" game was warmly received, receiving an average review score of 77.

This part serves as a prequel to the fifth, rewinding the story by approximately five centuries. The player will witness the twists and turns unfolding in the world of Ashan. The plot revolves around a demonic invasion of these lands, orchestrated by... the Archangel Michael. Killed during the ancient wars, he has now returned to life to punish his enemies. While pursuing his revenge, Michael will encounter the five heirs of the Griffin family. At first, he underestimated these warriors... Game features:
- An entertaining plot. The game will allow you to discover the history of the Griffin family before they ascended to imperial power. Players will also encounter a demonic invasion and a warrior with archangels.

- Five unique factions. The game is dedicated to the heroes of the Alliance of Light, Sanctuary, Unconquered Tribes, Inferno, and Necropolis. The first two factions are considered good, the third is neutral, and the fourth and fifth are evil.
