Dreamfall Chapters The Final Cut

The Longest Journey series brings together games that appeal equally to fans of dystopia and fantasy. How is this possible? The action takes place in two parallel worlds: one where scientific progress flourishes, the other where magic reigns. These worlds can only exist harmoniously if Balance is maintained, but someone has found a way to upset them, and that threatens to destroy them all.

The first game in the series, The Longest Journey, was released in 1999, and the second, Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, in 2006. Both were developed by the Norwegian studio Funcom. While they aren't direct sequels, the projects are interconnected through their events and protagonist, April Ryan. The games also differ in genre: the first is a quest, while the second is an action-adventure with stealth elements.

The intriguing plot of Dreamfall: The Longest Journey left gamers with many unanswered questions, so they eagerly awaited a sequel. And so it arrived in 2014. This time, development was handled by the independent Norwegian studio Red Thread Games, which consists primarily of former Funcom employees, so the creators of the third installment in the series are well-versed in their craft.

The new game is called Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey, or simply Dreamfall Chapters. It's an episodic project that tells the story of the characters chapter by chapter, or book by book. Three books were released in 2014 and 2015, and a fourth has already been announced, though it won't be the last. Incidentally, the project has returned to its original genre: there will be no action, with the gameplay emphasizing exploration of worlds, conversations with their inhabitants, and puzzle solving.

Thanks to a detailed account of the characters' lives, gamers will finally find answers to the questions that have been plaguing them. However, Dreamfall Chapters will be no less interesting for those unfamiliar with the first games in the series, as the plot briefly touches on previous events. The world has certainly become even more colorful and realistic, so everyone should download Dreamfall Chapters via torrent, as the gameplay is sure to be enjoyable!
