Chris, Susie, and the Shadow World
An ordinary schoolboy, Chris, along with his feisty classmate, Susie, unexpectedly find themselves plunging into the Dark World — a parallel reality hidden behind an ordinary closet. There, they are met by the timid Prince Ralsei, who is convinced that this strange trio is destined to save his kingdom. Thus begins a journey where the boundaries between good and evil, player and character, are constantly blurred, and every decision resonates with unexpected consequences.
Fight without killing
DELTARUNE's combat system combines turn-based combat with bullet-hell-style projectile dodging — it's important not only to attack but also to spare your enemies, finding a peaceful approach to the strangest and most touching creatures of the shadow world. Each chapter introduces new companions, mechanics, and mysteries: from the cyber-world of data in Chapter 2 to the night city in Chapter 3 and omens in Chapter 4.
Holiday
In the fifth chapter, "A Festive Day," the story returns to the heroes' hometown — with a festival, family secrets, and a new Dark World, born from the lost memories of one of the key characters. Secrets that have long been lingering are revealed, and the Chris-Susie-Knoll arc comes to the forefront, bringing players closer to solving the series' central mystery.
