What's the EverQuest Next LandmarkIs it a spinoff from the third installment of the famous multiplayer RPG or something separate? Initially, the former was the accepted approach, but the project soon became independent, and it was simply called Landmark. It's a social sandbox construction game, so comparisons to Minecraft are apt, but there are also differences. In Landmark, you can fine-tune the characters' appearances, even shaping their ears.

Adventures await you
There's only one class — characters can only be Adventurers. That's what you'll be doing in Landmark — searching for adventure! The bravest are sure to build something spectacular. It won't be easy, as you'll need to not only gather resources but also process them. Sure, building a tiny treehouse won't take long, but a castle surrounded by a moat filled with lava instead of water is a whole other story! The game's realistic graphics will make you want to download the torrent. EverQuest Next Landmark For all those who love games, you will admire the results of your architectural and construction work for a long time.

What other interesting things await gamers?
The game world consists of unique islands, unique because they are created using a procedural method. Travel between the various Landmark lands is open. These journeys will help you find needed resources, useful items, and simply lift your spirits as you explore all sorts of beautiful landscapes. Some are dominated by forests, others by deserts; some are tropically hot, while others are arctic. You can build a house anywhere, even on floating islands. Yes, such amazing places exist in the world of Landmark!

Explore the area
Each corner offers specific resources, so you won't be able to find everything in one place. But that only makes it more interesting! In the future, the process will become even more engaging, as the developers plan to introduce a system for dividing resources into surface and underground (cave). The deeper the character descends, the higher the chance of finding something rare. However, the likelihood of encountering a monster guarding treasure will also increase. Yes, there's plenty of combat in Landmark. The inhabitants of this world use not only light piercing and cutting weapons but also heavy, crushing ones — catapult technology. Of course, battles are allowed not only against computer monsters but also against each other — PvP is available.

It's still beta
While the game is still in beta, early access opened on May 13, 2014. Anyone can purchase one of three bundles: Settler, Explorer, and Trailblazer. Prices range from approximately 400 to 1600 rubles. The bundles differ in the item sets, with Settler being the most modest and Trailblazer being the most extensive. It's still unclear when Daybreak Games plans to release the final version of Landmark, as the developer has a lot of work to do with EverQuest Next, plus the recent release of the survival sandbox game H1Z1.
