Carp Fishing Simulator – a carp fishing simulator from Dangerous Derk Interactive. The game entered early access in the spring of 2015, and the full version was released on October 14, 2021. The developers targeted anglers frustrated by timers, on-screen prompts, and leveling up to unlock a proper fishing rod.

Everything is open from day one

There are no grinding or microtransactions. Tackle, equipment, bodies of water, and fish species are available immediately, without leveling up. There are over twenty rigs, including those from real manufacturers like Choice Rigs and JPrecision Hooks, and 42 types of lures, including DNA Bait and Active Bait. Your character is fully customizable, and there's even a female character. You can move freely along the shore, choosing your own fishing spot.

Time and weather as in real life

There are fifteen bodies of water, some of which are based on real locations. Day and night cycles in real time, the weather adjusts to the location of the body of water, and the selected month affects the water and air temperature. Fish in the lake are spontaneous: they are released into the water, and then behave without a predetermined scenario. There are 22 species of fish, including carp, pike, perch, and barbel. So, the bite depends not on a timer, but on where, when, and what you're fishing with.

On the beach with friends

You can fish solo or online, and online play works across multiple platforms. The developers continued to refine the mode after its release. Compared to Ultimate Fishing Simulator and Pro Fishing Simulator, the game is noticeably more streamlined: almost everything here is dedicated to carp and leisurely carp fishing.
