This is a sequel to the first-person shooter. The game was first released in 2008 by CITY and was considered at the time a collection of trashy elements and a cliché of second-rate action games. Now, the creators are releasing more interesting solutions.
The gameplay is set in the harsh reality of France in bygone days. The action takes place in a secret island location, where terrorists seeking to destroy the government operate. A special forces unit fights against these terrorists.
According to the story, the enemy managed to seize control of the nuclear generator. The invaders demanded 2-3 million dollars from the authorities. If they didn't comply, the attackers threatened to blow up the entire surrounding area.
To resolve the situation, a special forces unit, including the protagonist, is sent to the French island. With him, the player will face exciting missions, firefights, unexpected losses of comrades, and, of course, saving the entire world from an impending nuclear war.
As for the gameplay, this installment doesn't offer any particular standout qualities. Overall, it's a standard first-person shooter with a revamped built-in wound mechanic — crimson spots splashing onto the screen that gradually disappear when the soldier takes cover.
This part boasts a vast, detailed arsenal of weapons. Each item matches its real-world configuration and appearance. Weapons can be upgraded throughout the game, including both grips and thermal scopes.
This installment also boasts beautiful graphics and realistic physics. The player is given the opportunity to make the most of the surrounding environment – hiding in cover, setting ambushes, outflanking enemies, and employing a variety of other tactics.
