Collapse (2008)

As a result of a massive catastrophe that occurred in 2008, a significant portion of Europe became a vast anomalous zone. Most of the people within it died or went missing, and the survivors became witnesses and narrators of incredible events. Interestingly, the anomalies were not visible from satellites and were practically unstudied.

The main reason for the quarantine were strange creatures, very similar to humans. A Death Line was hastily erected around the anomaly. It looks like a wall of armored plates with minefields and machine gun nests along the perimeter. Those who failed to evacuate the quarantine zone in time found themselves completely and permanently cut off from the rest of the world.

After several years, the people who remained in the zone established settlements. This gave rise to the first clans, ruled by Lords, who brought in sufficiently strong and courageous individuals endowed with leadership qualities.

The young warrior Rodan, who grew up in the Zone, sought to uncover the true cause of his father's death, one of the last Lords. His role in this story proved crucial for the upcoming game.

Collapse: The Rage

Collapse: The Rage is an enhanced expansion and sequel to the thrilling third-person action adventure slasher Collapse. This version completely eliminates the mistakes of the previous game. The story includes four additional chapters, allowing you to explore the origins of the anomalous holes in greater detail. Combat mechanics have been completely redesigned from the ground up, with a leveling system, attack combos, and more.

The events take place in Kyiv, 2096. Not much time has passed since the events of the original Collapse. Humanity is beyond the hero's protection; the anomaly has been torn into numerous fragments, which have given birth to new Monsters. The Monsters are the cause of the emergence of anomalous particles. The hero finds himself caught between monsters, bandit groups, and military personnel. The only primary objective is to escape the infernal Circle.

The local plot doesn't deserve much attention. Rodan continues to dominate, striving to save humanity from a massive collapse. His goal is to understand the origins of the anomalies, restore memory, and eliminate the abomination from the Kyiv expanses. There are numerous ways to accomplish this: firing a variety of weapons, fighting in close combat, using a sword, or transforming into a whip. This will lead to the eventual destruction of those who antagonize him.

From now on, experience points are awarded for defeating enemies, and the old system continues. After a slain enemy earns experience points and a full experience bar, Rodan rushes to level up and unlocks the ability to choose a single skill from five specializations. This leveled-up hero will help him deal with even the most formidable enemies. Another option is to develop endurance and luck, gaining increased experience and encountering pleasant surprises on the map at the cost of combat strength.

The word "Fury" is used in the game for a reason. It symbolizes berserker mode. After eliminating 10 enemies and filling the rage bar to 100%, enemy attacks are disabled for a few seconds. Attacks destroy enemies in one hit.
