Arcen Games describes its new project as "a mix of Civilization, AI War, SimCity, and new things." Although the game has virtually no traditional combat elements, the developers classify their project as a 4X title. They say, "Don't worry if you never get to fight the enemy 'for real' — you'll still fight them, just on a slightly different front." The world of Star Beyond Reach is home to representatives of 14 races, eight of which are playable. Interestingly, each race has its own language, so to reach a consensus with your opponents, you'll first have to learn their languages. Overall, both the project description and its screenshots promise incredibly engaging gameplay!
