Despite significant advances in computer game development, the advent of cinematic scenes and virtual reality devices, simple pixel art projects with engaging plots and immersive gameplay continue to be popular. The Steam community has greenlit the game. Eitr, created by two enthusiastic developers from Britain. The project combines action, adventure, and RPG genres, and bears similarities to such renowned games as Dark Souls, Diablo, Path of Exile, and Golden Axe. Plot Eitr Based on Norse mythology, as its name suggests, Eitr is an all-destroying poison. According to the game's plot, the tree Yggdrasil was poisoned with it. This is not a simple tree (which is understandable — simple trees don't have names), but a world tree. According to Norse mythology, Yggdrasil unites nine worlds and serves as the foundation of the universe. However, due to the influence of Eitr, living skeletons, giant rats, and other unpleasant, and even warlike, creatures began to infiltrate these worlds. The main character must protect the world tree from all evil spirits. She uses a sword for attack and a shield for defense — it's all simple.
