League of Legends – a team MOBA from Riot Games, launched in October 2009 and constantly updated since then. Two teams of five play on a single map, and everything depends on champion selection, teamwork, and the ability to read the opponent.

Summoner's Rift

The main mode takes place on a map with three lanes and a jungle between them. Minion waves move along the lanes, protected by towers and inhibitors, and at the very end is a nexus that must be destroyed. Each role has its own role: the top and middle players hold the lanes, the jungler moves between them and sets up ambushes, and the bottom lane pair consists of a marksman and a support. Killing dragons and Baron Nashor grants team buffs, so these objectives are where the biggest fights occur. The average game lasts about half an hour.

Champions and builds

There are over 160 champions in the game, each with four active abilities and a passive one. There are mages, assassins, tanks, fighters, marksmen, and supports, and within each class, heroes vary greatly in style. As the match progresses, you purchase items with gold and tailor your build to the specific opponents. The game itself is free-to-play; champions are unlocked with in-game currency earned through matches, while cash is primarily used to purchase skins.

Runeterra's Modes and Universe

In addition to regular and ranked matches, there's ARAM on a single lane of the Howling Abyss, where a hero is randomly assigned, as well as limited-time modes. The game has a long-established esports scene with regional leagues and an annual world championship. The website also offers single-player games set in the same universe: Song of Nunu, CONVERGENCE, and Bandle Tale.
