Monster Chef is an action RPG with roguelike and tavern management elements, where monster hunting turns into a culinary adventure. Players take on the role of Pranzo, a small warrior chef capable of not only battling dangerous creatures but also transforming them into unusual dishes. By day, the hero travels the lands of Delysia, exploring unfamiliar territories and foraging for ingredients, and in the evening, he returns to his tavern to cook for customers and develop his establishment. To succeed, players will need to combine combat skills, culinary mastery, and business management skills.

Hunting for dinner

The adventure's main feature is its unusual cooking method. Instead of standard kitchen tools, Pranzo uses a special Chef's Weapon, which he uses to battle monsters and prepare future dishes while hunting. Each creature has its own culinary stamina, which must be depleted before delivering the finishing blow with the Cauldron. This final blow determines the final recipe, so choosing your attack carefully is crucial. Additionally, each day, the hero receives a Daily Menu with specific dishes that must be prepared to successfully complete the task.

After the hunt is complete, the next part of the adventure begins: running your own tavern. A wide variety of guests from all over Delysia come here: humans, elves, orcs, and tritons. You must serve customers, earn a reputation, restore the abandoned establishment, and find allies who can help with everyday affairs. This tavern once belonged to the legendary master, Cibo Cibo Cibo, so Pranzo is tasked with restoring it to its former glory.
