LET IT DIE is a frantic action game with survival elements in which you must fight your way through a dangerous tower filled with bloodthirsty enemies, deadly traps, and riddles. In 2026, a massive tectonic cataclysm destroyed the familiar world, and part of southwestern Tokyo broke away and sank underwater. A gigantic tower has risen from the ocean, considered by some to be a sacred site, while others believe it to be the source of universal madness. Under the watchful eye of an unusual guide named Uncle Death, you will journey to the summit, where, according to rumors, a legendary treasure is hidden.
You begin your journey with virtually no equipment, so you'll have to use whatever you can find. Fight your way through floors, collect weapons and armor, loot fallen enemies, and craft more powerful gear. To maintain your strength, consume mushrooms, frogs, and other unusual creatures, some of which can grant special abilities. However, not every encounter is worth taking: sometimes it's wiser to avoid an enemy and save your strength for the next challenge.
Combat is brutal and dynamic, with special rage moves and bloody finishers available for dramatic endings. However, death doesn't always mean final defeat: even if you lose your gear, you can still continue your ascent and adapt your tactics. As you progress, new opportunities open up to prepare for even more dangerous opponents.
