After Victoria and Eleanor meet, an uneasy alliance forms between the heroines, which becomes the foundation of their subsequent journey. Together, they must navigate the crumbling corridors of the mansion, explore gloomy rooms, and navigate the ancient mechanisms that block their path. The environment constantly poses a threat, so attentiveness is as crucial as weapons. Puzzles are directly related to the surrounding environment, and solving them requires observation, logic, and careful exploration of every accessible area.

Battles take place from a third-person perspective and require proper positioning, composure, and the selection of the right weapon or tool. Different opponents can render familiar tactics ineffective, forcing players to adapt to the situation and avoid wasting ammunition unnecessarily. If desired, the entire adventure can be played with another player in local split-screen co-op, allowing the characters to coordinate their actions and share resources.
