Warslave

Warslave is a fast-paced, linear first-person shooter set in a carefully crafted open world on an alien planet, with no skill trees, extra abilities, or randomized playthroughs. The protagonist is a prisoner sent to serve his sentence on an extremely dangerous alien world. The only path to freedom is through survival: he must survive until the end of his sentence, reach the shuttle, and escape the planet alive, fighting his way through aggressive creatures and using the weapons he finds.

Madness of the Sun

The planet has an unusual feature that can completely change the usual course of combat. At certain moments, the sun is suddenly blocked, causing the local creatures to go berserk and weapons to stop working. In such a situation, firepower is unavailable — you have to flee, overcome obstacles, and wait for sunlight to return. Running, dashing, sliding, and double jumping become the primary means of survival, so even a familiar route can suddenly turn into a deadly chase. Once the weapons are operational again, a full-scale hunt for the planet's inhabitants begins. The hero has eight weapons at his disposal, each with five modifications that can be found while exploring the surrounding world. Ammunition isn't a constant problem, as killed enemies replenish their supply, allowing the player to focus on the battle itself. For those who prefer a more challenging experience, several difficulty levels are available: from a normal mode with checkpoints to a variant with a single respawn attempt, increased accuracy and enemy damage, an increased number of enemies, and the possibility of permanent death.
