Mad Ever After is a fast-paced, first-person roguelike where familiar fairytale worlds are transformed into dangerous battlefields. Alone or with up to three friends, fight your way through hordes of bizarre enemies using magical staves, unusual weapons, and spells. Each attempt yields a completely different set of abilities, and controlling a magic cube during combat requires quick decisions and the ability to combine power-ups effectively.

Crazy Magic

The main source of magic is a special magic cube, which must be controlled directly during battle. By combining upgrades and discovering new combinations, you can create your own combat arsenal and tailor it to emerging threats. A variety of weapons with completely different properties complement the system: the poisonous Excalibur, the dragon staff, the glacial revolver, and the magical trombone allow you to deal with enemies in a variety of ways and constantly change up your familiar playstyle.

The journey takes you through twisted versions of familiar fairy tales, where familiar characters take on completely unexpected roles. In one world, all you need to do is help the Bremen Town Musicians put on a performance, while in another, you'll have to battle a princess transformed into a monster.
