It all starts with a small establishment, where you have to take orders yourself, fill bowls, and ensure the smoke is smooth and doesn't turn customers into a coughing mob. Mistakes are quickly noticed, and good service quickly elevates a reputation.

The evening shift rarely goes smoothly.

While one hookah waits for coals, another already needs a bowl replacement, and somewhere near the exit, a customer is trying to sneak out without paying. You have to simultaneously monitor the room, detect overheating, and quickly react to sudden chaos. Sometimes the situation reaches the point of absurdity, when a hookah bursts into flames right on the floor and you have to drop everything to grab a fire extinguisher.

Gradually, the small hookah bar begins to transform into a full-fledged lounge with a new interior, furniture, and additional services. It can be a cozy, warm spot for quiet evenings or a dark, neon-lit space with a bustling atmosphere. Over time, staff are added, menu items are added, and more and more ways are being developed to transform the ordinary establishment into a popular city spot.
