Titanium Court — It's a strange mix of puzzle and text adventure, where you're not given the task of commanding an army, but rather of shaping the board itself to suit your needs. You're thrust into a place that seemingly behaves like a normal fantasy world, but constantly plays tricks on you and doesn't rush to explain what's going on. Everything here hinges on presentation: the game speaks directly to you, and does so as if you've been immersed in this madness for a long time.
You control the rules, not the units.
Skirmishes feel like puzzles where understanding how things work isn't as important as strength. You don't give orders to your fighters — you change the conditions they face. Sometimes the solution is obvious, sometimes you have to twist the situation until it works in your favor. That's the fun of it: you're not fighting head-on, but finding a way around limitations.
The story is presented in chunks, and no one is going to spell out the lore for you. You have to read, compare, and deduce the meaning from what's happening yourself. At the same time, the game constantly makes jokes, subverts expectations, and behaves as if it knows what you expect from it. Ultimately, it's not just a walkthrough, but a dialogue with a game that clearly doesn't want to be ordinary.
