Ascend to ZERO is a fast-paced roguelike where the seconds themselves become your primary weapon. You have the ability to freeze time, transforming the chaos of battle into a manageable system. The world doesn't slow down — it freezes, allowing you to plan your actions, avoid threats, and plot the perfect route to the top. Each run deepens your understanding of the mechanics and expands your potential for manipulating the flow of time.

A second as a resource

Time Stop is used strategically: to dodge attacks, perform precise strikes, reposition, or reload while in a safe pause. The deeper you progress, the more challenging the enemies become, and the more precise the timing of your ability's activation must be. Timing becomes a skill, and mistakes are instantly punished.

Progression is built around unlocking skills, tech chips, and gear upgrades. You can focus on close combat, becoming a master of the blade, or prefer a long-range style with powerful shots. Combining abilities allows you to create unique builds tailored to different scenarios and playstyles.
