Trials Survivors — a survivor-like game with a huge amount of loot, insane synergies, and a screen that quickly devolves into a continuous stream of enemies, effects, and projectiles. The main spell is controlled manually, but everything else is automatic, so your attention is constantly shifting between movement, dodging, and the greedy desire to gather even more power mid-run.
Chaos here becomes a reward for a good build.
Spells, relics, and upgrades easily combine into absurd combinations. Additional projectiles, piercing abilities, chain attacks, and effect boosts gradually transform a character into a walking disaster, capable of cluttering the screen with so many attacks that enemies are sometimes almost invisible behind the flashes. The game makes no attempt to limit the power of builds — on the contrary, it constantly pushes you to build something even more broken.
Constellation Challenges set the pace of the run: in some, you need to survive the onslaught of hordes, in others, you need to quickly eliminate a required number of monsters before the timer runs out. Successful completion unlocks new abilities, relics, and ways to further boost your build. The cat merchant, mountains of loot, and constant power growth make the experience closer to a hack and slash than a classic survivor-like.
