Overkills The Walking Dead

In 2003, Robert Kirkman's terrifying comic book, The Walking Dead, debuted in the United States. The title translates to "The Walking Dead" in Russian. Kirkman's work has since become a true franchise: a television series of the same name debuted in 2010; a prequel novel, The Walking Dead: Rise of the Governor, was released in 2011; the first video game, The Walking Dead: The Game, was released in 2012; and a second game, The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, was released in 2013. A third game, Overkill's The Walking Dead, is now in development, and you'll soon be able to download it via torrent.

As the title suggests, the project was developed by Overkill Software, a studio famous for its Payday series of co-op first-person shooters. Incidentally, Overkill's The Walking Dead is being developed in the same genre, but to make the game even more engaging, the creators decided to add various elements. There's room for RPG, action, stealth, and, of course, survival horror — after all, we're talking about the walking dead! The project is currently expected to be released on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. The release is scheduled for 2016, so a lot can still change. There's very little information about the upcoming new game yet, and the plot is unknown. What's clear is that the action will take place in the ruins of a post-apocalyptic Washington, and a group of survivors will have to defend themselves against vile zombies with all their might.
