Sacrifice Your Friends – a chaotic party brawler from Astrolabe Interactive based on Lovecraft's works. The game entered early access in June 2020, with the full version releasing on October 25, 2022. The art style is cartoonish, and the theme is dark: friends fight in arenas to please the Ancient Ones.

Cult of Four

One to four players can play. Arenas are designed for two to four players, and the story mode can be played solo or cooperatively. Everyone can play on the same screen, online or in a mixed-player mode, with Remote Play Together and cross-platform play also supported. The modes are familiar from other party brawlers: deathmatch, conquest, tournaments, and several other variations. In addition to brawling, you need to cultivate your cult of the Ancients, and in the heat of battle, you can transform into an avatar of one of the Great Ancients.

Sixteen arenas

There are sixteen arenas, all inspired by the stories of Lovecraft: the Mountains of Madness, Innsmouth, and the Nameless City. The arenas are alive and dangerous, and you can die in them even if your opponent misses. Blows and explosions are calculated using physics, so the impact of bodies is different and often comical each time. The rules are simple, but mastering the game is more challenging than it seems in your first match.

Discoveries and outfits

As you progress, you unlock new weapons with their own mechanics, characters, accessories, and arenas. Characters can be customized. The only similarities between the game and Mount Your Friends are the similar name and the focus on playing with friends; otherwise, they are different projects.
