The Bard's Tale 4 Barrows Deep

2016 will surely be remembered for its grand gaming projects, just as 2015 was. This year, we're expecting a ton of high-quality content, and we'd like to remind you that Brian Fargo announced a new game project at last year's PAX South, which his studio, inXile Entertainment, is actively developing. Guess what? His new creation will be The Bard's Tale 4, which will revive the series after a nearly 30-year hiatus.

The Bard's Tale series tells the story of the heroic adventures of a hero who dreamed of being sung about in ballads across the world. Over the course of three game series, The Bard's Tale delighted players with its rich world and witty jokes that fans still remember to this day. And now the time has come for a new installment, The Bard's Tale 4, which continues the story of the bravest heroes of the time.

The studio is currently actively working on the project, but plans to soon launch the game on Kickstarter and enlist the support of fans, who are sure to respond. In addition to another compelling story, the developers promise a completely unique turn-based combat system, plenty of humor, and state-of-the-art graphics.
