This time, CBE Software has decided to delight us with a new game project called Someday You'll Return. This isn't their first project, as they've created horror games before and have taken a liking to the genre. Now, they intend to create an interactive masterpiece that will be remembered for a long time.

Someday You'll Return is a first-person adventure in which players assume the role of a man who has lost his only daughter. For unknown reasons, she decided to leave her home and head off in an unknown direction. Her father decides to search for her. Fortunately, he had planted a special tracking device on her shortly beforehand, allowing him to track her movements. But will this be his salvation, or will it become our hero's ultimate curse? That's all we know about the game so far, but the developers promise to share more details soon. Your survival skills and wits will aid you in this adventure, but be warned that the forest is beset with impossible-to-survive nightmares. Your only option is to flee.

In the game, you control Daniel, Stella's father, who reluctantly returns to the place he swore he'd never return to. In the forest, the protagonist meets people who will help him understand why Stella keeps running away from home. Someday You'll Return explores themes of fatherhood, fear, lies, and the inability to accept loved ones' pasts. And while the plot is in the best horror traditions, it's worth remembering that the scariest monsters don't always look like monsters.

SETTING
Someday You'll Return takes place in the picturesque forests of the Czech Republic. While they may not look exactly like their real-life counterparts, we've strived to capture the atmosphere of Eastern European nature. The game features a number of world-famous landmarks, recreated in as much detail as possible. We hope this will inspire you to embark on your own journey.

All the locations and myths mentioned in the game are quite ancient. Some of the legends you'll hear in Someday You'll Return date back to the 9th century.
